We are very excited to present our very FIRST challenge to you!

But first – meet our sponsor for this challenge:

Magistical Memories was created by Michael and Crystle Torvinen.

This is what they say about their company:

Magistical Memories was created to provide chipboard products for the Arts and Craft Industries. We offer laser cut letters, borders, shapes & flowers along with our die-cut Ribbon Wrap©. We can also provide you with custom products that are one of a kind.

Our chipboard shapes and letters are laser cut or die-cut out of approximately .040″ thick stock. When the laser cuts the chipboard it burns the edges a little, so we have given it the clever name of BBQ chipboard©. The chipboard is very versatile, use them in your scrapbooking and craft projects, you can do just about anything with them and you never have to search for just the right color. You can paint, stamp, chalk, decoupage, add embellishments, fiber, ribbon, fabric, diamond glaze, beads or use them as a template to cut paper or use as a stencil. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination. Be sure to check out our inspiration page for ideas.

And now – finally – our FIRST challenge!!

We want you to be take a good look at the photo below, and create LO/card/otp from whatever inspires you in it. Is it the colours? The bikes? Or maybe the graffiti? Whatever it is, the end result is bound to be fantastic!

I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have since then lived in Texas and several different cities in Indiana.  I married my fabulous husband 17 years ago and 12 years ago welcomed our first daughter.  Daughter number two came along two years later.  After teaching for 7 years I was fortunate enough to become a stay at home mom to my two sweet girls.

When I am not paper crafting, you can find me spending time at my daughter’s school or involved in church activities. I love to read and travel but don’t find enough time to do either.

I was introduced to scrapbooking over ten years ago after a family trip.  A little over seven years ago I truly became passionate about it, spending more time scrapbooking and submitting my work for publication. Since that time I have been fortunate to have my layouts, cards and projects published in many of the major magazines I am currently a designer for Emma’s Paperie online store, Creative Charms and Sizzix.

Hello! My name is Jessy Christopher. Married to my sweetheart, Eric for 6 years now and we have 2 feline fur-kids, Tuffie & Tobes. I am a preschool teacher & scrapbook enthusiast in Malaysia.

I have been scrapping since end of 2007. I started off with digital & hybrid scrapbooking and finally ventured into paper scrapbooking in the early of 2008. What I love the most about scrapbooking is the freedom to express myself. There are no boundaries, I can do whatever I want on my layout.

I love to try out different techniques & style. A BIG fan of patterned paper (love to do fussy cutting), also love mist & paint. I am very fortunate to be designing for Donna Salazar Designs, My Scrapbook Nook, Scrappin Studio & Your Scrapbook Stash.

My creations have been featured in various manufacturers websites & also scrapbook magazines ie; Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts & Scrapbook Trends, CARDS & online magazines as well.

I live in Albany on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand with my husband, Gary, our 7 year old son Liam, our wee daughter Taylor Grace (aged 8 months) and our very bouncy Retrospoodle dog, Indy.

I have been scrapbooking for about 5 years now although I do have trouble  remembering exactly when I just stopped just collecting many scrapbooking  products and I actually became completely hooked. My scrapbooking style is still evolving but I just love creating layers and filling my pages with gorgeous products!!    I am currently on the design team for Scrappin’ Patch and I have been lucky enough to be published in several magazines and have my work featured several times on the Prima and on Sketchy Thursday’s blogs as well as over at the Color Room.

I would say that Scrapbooking for me is like therapy… I find it very relaxing and it’s often my time out or my ‘me time’. I love that scrapbooking  enables me to preserve my families’ memories, to be creative and allows me to  indulge in some retail therapy all at the same time.

I am excited to be part of the DT here at Challenge Me Happy and I can’t wait to get started…
